Heaven, earth, and I: the same root. Everything and I: one thing.
A skillful carpenter can use any tree in his work. Good and bad do not matter.
If good things come, you must know their proper use; if bad things come, you must also know how to use them correctly.
Don’t cling to good or try to get rid of bad. Do keep both good and bad friends, and never reject anything.
This is true Buddhism.
