Meeting Sakyamuni, kill him! Meeting Bodhidharma, kill him, too!

Buddhism in Zen, especially, means that you really interact with this world. To interact with this world you need form. You need things to do, and doing them with other people in complete engagement.
This world is already complete before anything can be said about it. Then why do we have sutras and dharma talk and articles, such as the one you are reading now? It is only because we forget that we are already complete that we have all these words.
So that is the great question. What are we before we made up everything else? You know the monologue that has been playing in your head. We are always editing it, revising it, making up a story of who we are.
